Also, please permit me a tiny little rant. I try not to do this on the blog, because there are already so very many ranting blogs in the world. That said, could every nation of the world please officially recognize every other nation in the world by the name each nations citizens use to refer to themselves?

This country should be 'Sakartvelo' to people in the United Sates, as it is known to everyone I live and work with. (This would also prevent the confusion with the American State) Armenia should by 'Hayastan' as it is known by Armenians. Armenians should adopt Sakartvelo instead of Vayastan when referring to their neighbors in the north, and Kartvels should should abandon the calling of Hayastan Somkheti.
