This is a pretty big week for us. We take our final "Language Proficiency Interview" tomorrow to determine how much of the 160 or so hours of language training we've just completed stuck. We will continue with tutoring when we get to Kutaisi, but it's pretty important to do well on this exam.
Once complete, we will have one more session on Thursday, and will need to pack up for our new home.
Friday morning we attend the ceremony where we graduate. This begins our two years of service. Our last day of service in country will be August 17, 2008.
After the ceremony Friday we will travel 4 or so hours to Kutaisi.
We start work Monday.
Congratulations! Another big event in mid-August. Happy aniversary of your reception Aug. 14th 2 yrs. ago. We know you'll do well on your language test. Loved the pics. Hope all goes well in your new home and city.
Love you,
Mom and Dad
I already miss you both! Good luck on your Final LPI's, I know you'll both do great. It's weird to think only a few days ago I was in class with you Amy, I miss playing our Georgian version of hot or not and our daily junk food snacks. You'll both be in my thoughts. Droebit.
