Puppy Time! Outside of the University where my daily language classes are, a mommy doggie decided to have her pups. They've been out of the hole in the wall where she had them for about a week now. She's trying to wean them and some are chewing on the bread some of us throw in from time to time. They're adorable but we can't yet convince Elza, our teacher to let us bring them into class with us.

The garden. The tree at the bottom of the stairs is the apricot tree that just came ripe. We've been gorging ourselves on the super sweet fruits between enormous meals. In the very back are green bean plant. Along the left hand side are grape vines held up with white climbing rope and hidden in between them are some various berry bushes. The foreground plants are small tomato plants that aren't bearing tomatoes yet. You can't really see, but to the left of the stair is the mint, cilantro and dill and rosemary patches. That's where we get the seasoning for dinner everynight.

Finally, the living room. We spend alot of evenings down here doing homework, visiting with the family, listening to Host Father play guitar and sing, watching world cup games and generally enjoying our time here.
