Happy 4th of July!
Peace Corps has given us the day off as a holiday, and organized a "picnic".
We are meeting the rest of the group shortly.
We have the correct postcode for the Peace Corps office now. It's on the left.
On Friday of this week we have our first language assessment. They'll be interviewing
us to see where we are with three weeks under our belts. We both seem to be keeping up
with our respective groups.
Your life looks so beautiful with mountains and puppies and rugs hanging on walls and draped over couches. You should publish a book called "Peace Corps Style."
Happy 4th! Good to keep touch with you. You are able to post photos/messages more frequently than we thought! Keep up the good work! :)
Hi, I keep up with your BLOG on a regular basis and am glad to hear you are both doing well and getting acclimated to Georgia. We miss you both! We are also very glad that you seem to be enjoying yourselves. Hope you enjoyed the day off and picnic.
No news about our upcoming trip yet, but we will let you know when we hear.
Take care!
Kelly, Rob and Angela
Ok guys, thanks! Now Joe wants a garden just like yours (complete with Fruit Trees). Actually this is a good thing, but I hope we can do it in the New England Climate. Glad you got the day off. We had fireworks (at a friends)- they don't sell bottle rockets in NH, but you can buy the real fireworks that the whole town can see! Go figure?!? Have a great week!
