Directions in/around the city include the following phrases:
"Over the moat"
"Through the North Gate"
"Around the City Wall"
This place has so many contrasts to Bankok. I got to see 8 hours worth of Thai countryside (read: Rice fields) on the way up.
Tomorrow, we go another 3 hours north to the village. I've learned a few more phrases, and took a spin on Davids Motorcycle... it was a bit nerve racking.
1. The motorcycle part.
2. Less than predicitable Thai drivers.
3. Guess which side of the road I have to get used too.
I'm committed to learning, but many reading this will be relieved that after two slow trips around the busy block I told David I'd like a more thorough lesson before venturing any further. I need a picture of me on the bike.
